Watch Me as I Graduate!

I can't believe this has happened!
(first day of preschool)
He is so grown up, Charley Graduated from preschool on Wednesday May 20 (he was so excite that he was graduating before his uncle Fletcher (who is graduating today with his Bachelors degree :).

He did such a great job and has been practicing his national anthem for the last week. I am so proud of him this year, he is ready to move on to kindergarten.
Our other fun news is that Jill and Shane and their kiddos and Allyn came up for a couple days. It was so fun to have people visiting us! We went to the park and the interpretive center so the kids could see the big dinosaur then we went fishing and took Allyn on a short tour of St. Marie. It was so good to see them and we are getting so excited to go to Idaho next week and see everybody else. We have also been steadily working on our storage room downstairs and we are hoping to finish it up tonight. (Charley has been consistently praying that we can get it done so I hope we can.)
William had his last pack night as a wolf scout last night he has done so great in scouts this year and he is very excited to move up to the Bear den in June!

From the Mouth of Goobs

Charley has been asking Brevick if he wants to have the "moolet" when I looked to see what he was talking about it was a little cow puzzle piece. So when Brevick grows up a little confused. . . .

Stats

For those of you that were interested in the height and weight of my kids here it is.
William is 4ft 3 in and weighs 48 lbs
Charley is 3ft 9 in and weighs 44lbs
Emmerlyn is 3ft 3 in and weighs 34lbs
Brevick you will just have to wait until his next appointment because there is no way I am going to try to wrestle him down to measure him on my own!

Double Step

It's been a busy week these last 7 days so I apologize for being late, there are just not enough hours in the day. We have been trying to get over being sick and we were all on the mend so naturally Charley has a fever of 101* this morning so we will have to figure that one out. Ben is working hard on getting his audits put together and we are trying to squeeze in some home remodeling projects so that equates to our house being torn apart and Ben working lots of overtime :/. They will get done eventually though right? Last week for mutual we did cupcake wars and it was super fun of course my kiddos wanted to get in on the fun so I saved them some supplies and they went to work (have you seen that show? It is fun, my kids love to watch it and they get really into it!)
Here Charley and Emmerlyn are hard at work. *Note the pile of knives on the table. I gave them the bowls of frosting (after they helped me make and color it) and then knives to spread it with. Charley sat down and assessed the situation and then looked up at me and asked "where are the bags?" making a squeezing motion with his hands, "we can't decorate without bags". So we put it into bags.

With their finished products. (Never mind Emmerlyn's CRAZY bedhead. Thursdays are hard for us.) They were judged on taste and presentation, It was a tie, kudos to their baker :). *Emmerlyn ate one of her cupcakes before it made it to the second round, so did William*
William did his after school he did a great job (Charley was photo-bombing)
Happy Mother's day from Charley. William and Emmerlyn also gave me cards, I have the sweetest kids EVER! Even though on Williams little I love about mom paper he said he thinks I am funniest when I am mad at dad. (Because I say "BENJAMIN ALLEN, and because it is always over funny things" that's what he says)

Busy baby, he is walking across the living room now and toddled away from me after he stole the remote off the TV at exercise group. I am not sure how I am going to keep up with this fella.
Charley wore this outfit to school, Brevick loves he brother.
Charley had his Clogging recital on Tuesday, we recorded it but can't get it to upload (of course). Doesn't he look like a stud?
Sorry about my finger. This was funny because they were doing their steps and their teacher was giving hand motions to indicate what steps they should be on and they were all doing the had motions with her! He did a great job!

Such a cute little group. He had some cute shades to wear but they somehow got lost between us getting there and him going on stage!
Last Friday we went fishing Emmerlyn caught a pike and Ben caught a little fish that I can't remember what it was called. Charley was informing as we were walking back to the car that dad's fish was a female and it had a belly of eggs because it was fat. We went again on Saturday and Emmerlyn is the only one that caught anything. Charley and William had lots of bites but we never got anything to come in. The are doing great, William casts his own pole and Charley is starting to learn to cast. Emmerlyn is just there to real in!
It has been an exhausting and fun week.

Rock and Roll

So this last week with Ben being gone we didn't do a whole lot out of the ordinary. After Ben came home we had plans to go out for our anniversary but then William cam home from school with strep throat. He kept saying he was fine and felt great but he sounded like a frog and had a fever of 102*. So we scraped our date plans and everybody went to bed. On Saturday we were working on projects and the kids were recovering with some TV watching and Ben cut his thumb with his table saw. Thankfully it isn't very deep and just required a little rinsing and bandaging. We then regrouped and worked in the basement a little bit. Emmerlyn had lots of fun helping and she kept saying "look I have 2 hands and they are empty" then she would wait for us to put something in her hands that she could then go throw away. She also LOVES to hand Ben nails and screws.
Sunday Ben and I traded shifts at church and the sick kids stayed home. Now Ben and I are getting sick and all the kids are getting over it. Brevick is teething which has added another element of awesome to this past week. He is proudly sporting 2 little teeth now so we are making progress.
William had his spring program today and he was a 50s dancer (he got to dance with a girl!) he did so great and did a great dance number with his partner.
 Isn't he such a stud?!
Have a great week!
