Well, this week I spent at Girls Camp. It was an experience in and of itself and getting there proved to be quite a challenge but that is a story for another day. For now I will move on to the kidlets. The boys were thrilled to have their aunts and uncle come and babysit/play with them for the week, I think they had a lot of fun. William felt like he was a pretty big boy and he kind of is now. Emmerlyn wasn't as thrilled she did not like that I left her with what she felt like were strangers. She was pretty irritated with me when I got home and after her initial hug she would not come to me or talk to me and she cried if Ben tried to take her away. She is doing better now that we are back into our routine.
I just missed his little face, he is getting ready for naptime and had to have a snake to snuggle. Weirdo.
Look at how big she looks! Her hair is getting so long. I really missed her sweet little voice and her gooey kisses.
My big grown up boy getting ready for T-ball yesterday. He is really getting the hang of it now and it is fun to watch him enjoy it. He really liked playing cards with the older kids and their friends and staying up REALLY late. I missed him chatting to me constantly.
The boys started swimming lessons this week and they are loving it. Charley is having a blast just playing in the water and William is actually learning how to swim which is fun for him. Emmerlyn is too little for swimming lessons and she is pretty preturbed about it. She was begging for her swimsuit this morning and wouldn't let me put on her normal clothes so I gave in. I think that she felt like if she had her suit on when we got there that I would just let her go because she tried to run in with Charley. Crazy girl. Instead we watched and got eaten alive even through our layers of bugspray and our clothes (seriously I have multiple bites on my back). Maybe they will be better tomorrow. . . .
It is so nice to be home and I think that it is a good thing that I am not gone all the time. It has taken these last 2 days to find the floor in my house :).
