Tired

Really that is all I have to say today. I have a few pictures on my camera but I honestly don't have the energy to get the camera to pull them off, maybe next week. I think that winter is starting to drag just a little bit for us and I just don't feel like even moving. . . Not a good thing since like always there is tons to do. Charley had tumbling today and he was a little stinker who wouldn't do what his teacher said I think he is a little over-tired too. William is starting to get frustrated because it has been so cold for the last month that he has mostly just been having indoor recess and they have to stay in their classroom and just quietly play I think he is anxious to get outside and burn off some energy. Emmerlyn is busy being "da boss of da family" as she calls herself unfortunately for her that isn't going over super well with anyone else in the family. I had a Dr. appointment today and for the first time EVER in all of my pregnancies I am measuring a week AHEAD of my due date. I am usually always behind. The baby was pretty stubborn too when she was trying find the heartbeat she would pick it up for a second and then the baby would kick the monitor and then she couldn't find it again for a minute and then she picked it up again and it kicked the monitor again and then disappeared. Silly baby if you only knew what you were doing :). This baby must be in a funny position because every time I bend down or lay a certain way I can feel it pushing on me with all four extremities as if it is saying stop it mom you are squishing me!!! Ben is super busy doing farmer taxes right now so we get to see him for about 10 hours a week :) but we are almost on the downhill slope of tax season so I think we can make it! If only the bathroom would remodel itself. . . .

Quick Get-Away

With Tax Season in full swing and getting worse we are definitely starting to feel it around here. Our bathrooms are just crawling to the finish, I am now hoping that we have them totally done by the middle of March :/ but that is ok. The biggest impact that I am seeing is on Emmerlyn. That little girls probably spent most of last week crying and only wanting her dad. Talk about frustrating for me. So Ben worked super hard and was able to have Saturday off and we got up early and drove away to Billings for some much needed family time. It was SO nice. Emmerlyn was pretty much attached to Ben the whole time, she wouldn't let me help her, hold her, buckle her, push her in the cart etc. It was OK with me I just kind of chilled with the boys. She has definitely been in a better mood since we got home. Now we just have to make it for 2 more months. . . . William had a day off of school yesterday and he and Charley played and played and played. I only saw them when I called them up for food. It is always nice when they play happily together!

It's Been Cold

That pretty much sums up our week.
This is what we have been wearing on the very short drive to take William to school. This attire is all necessary even after letting the car warm up for 15 minutes. William was pretty sick of having indoor recess because it was below zero all day everyday for the whole week. Today it warmed up to the 20s and it feels great.
William lost another tooth this week and he put it in a baggie and gave it to me for safe keeping. . . .
Yeah I couldn't find it anywhere. Awesome mom of the year moment right there. Luckily the tooth fairy still payed up.
William got a waffle stick maker from Grandma and Grandpa Rydalch for his birthday so we tested it out with William's Waffle Wednesday (per the note that he gave me so I could get it on the schedule) He really liked learning a new skill and he really wants to learn to cook. He keeps asking me when he can start his microwave lessons :). We are starting small.
This masterpiece (for those of you with the untrained eye) is the Temple per Charley's interpretation. I think it looks pretty good and he was really excited to show it to me. Silly dude. He started tumbling class last week and he LOVES it they keep them running crazy for the whole class and it is a great thing. I wish it was all year around and I wish that Emmerlyn was old enough to be in it. Next year. . . . .
Emmerlyn is doing good running the nursery. She loves her leaders and did NOT want to leave on Sunday. She is really starting to miss her dad during tax season and she has done a lot of crying which is wearing her mother out!

It's Official!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I am a little excited. He got his certificate in the mail yesterday and I am so proud of him! It has been so nice to be done and have a little extra family time.
We love you Ben

In Other News this Week

Tax Season grab and go breakfast or dinner snack muffins. For Ben so he doesn't have to think about it when he goes into work super early in the mornings on Saturdays or works really late the other days. They are Oatmeal Chocolate Chip and they are yummy!
I know it's hard to see but we borrowed a projector from Ben's work to watch the super bowl since we just watch it online. It was nice to have such a big view too bad the game was kind of crummy. The kids had fun watching it that big though especially Emmerlyn.

William is 7!!!!!!!!

I know, I can't believe it either. He is SO grown up!!! He knows it too. He is really loving life right now. He just finished basketball and had so much fun at that. He is looking forward to doing it again next year. He loves learning new things it doesn't really matter what it is he wants to know how to do it. He is doing really well in school and really likes to go. He will tell you that he is great at school especially math. He has really picked up his reading skills lately and is really starting to love that. He got a good push when he brought home a book all about spiders complete with big detailed pictures. I told him if he was going to bring home books like that he would have to read the himself. (I can read about snakes, dinosaurs, sharks, volcanoes etc, but I draw the line at spiders I think that I would have creepy-crawly feelings all the time if I did that.) he took the challenge and read the whole book! He loves primary and has been really excited with our scripture reading lately. He likes to get the mail everyday when he gets home and likes to have chores so that he can earn tokens (even though he may tell you he doesn't like it he really gets excited each time we change it up so he has a new job. He likes to clean the bathroom the best.) His favorite food is pizza followed by mac and cheese, then peanut butter and jelly but he will usually eat about anything sometimes with a mad face but he will eat it. He loves to watch Ninjago and he loves to read books that are fact based. He loves to talk and be involved in EVERY conversation that is going on around him. He is such a great kid and is usually very helpful with his siblings he is pretty excited for our new baby to come this summer and he was the only one who thought it was a boy. When we found out it was a girl he then claimed that he had secretly thought it was a girl :). Happy Birthday my sweet William! We love you!
Reading his book with his 100's day glasses on.
He wanted a very ornate super-hero cake. This was the best I could do!
 Such a cute dude!
