Pictures from my Phone

These are in no particular order but I figured we better get them on here.
This one makes me laugh because Emmerlyn wanted to wear this dress every Sunday so she could tuck a tissue in the tie across her tummy so she was ready for nursery.
Charley's tumbling class.
Our trip to Billings in April with Grandma and Grandpa Allen
Feeding the fish

The zoo it was cool to see the Grizzly bears up so close.
Emmerlyn showing me her hat
William put curlers in her hair, she promptly removed them :)
She thought the baby would like a sticker, or a whole sheet of them! Note the lopsided baby belly this kiddo is all over the place.
Emmerlyn's face (per request)

Baby puppy snuggles
It's hard to see but William has a bruise right in the middle of his forehead. I asked him what happened and he said that a girl stepped on the back of his shoe then he said I don't know, maybe I stepped on the front of her shoe with the back of my foot (that would be super hard to do). Then he said luckily she fell on top of me so she didn't get hurt! What a sweet boy!

Emmerlyn's nail polish from the Father's and Son's (these are my work pants, please excuse the paint!).
The job she did for me!

A trip to the park the other day with these three crazies.

What a bunch of busy days just living!

School is almost out!

This is William's last week of school I can't believe how fast the year has gone. He has learned a lot and had lots of fun. I think he is excited for summer break but a little bummed about not getting to go socialize with all of his friends :) Thursday was his spring program and they did Swamped. William was a fish and he did so good. He sang all of his songs (sort-of) and did great on his speaking part. Charley and Emmerlyn were pretty excited to see him and they kept yelling out his name which made him smile (good thing this isn't a formal event :).  William also had to give a talk in primary (which I had forgotten about of course!) he did great and was able to give it really well.

We kind of had a mutiny from Emmerlyn and Charley on Sunday they were crazy naughty during church and seemed to be pretty tired. Emmerlyn ended up falling asleep on the floor between Ben's feet and slept there for about 45 minutes and Charley was just crazy wiggley and noisy and then he REFUSED to go to class. He came totally unglued and wouldn't let go of me. (this is totally out of character for him because he loves his teacher and singing time and most Sunday's he does really well.) So I told him if he stayed with me he had to just sit quietly which he did for awhile then I ended up taking him out of Sunday school and he fell asleep in my lap for a few minutes and then waking up even crankier. Hopefully this was a one time deal and he will be back to his happy self this next week crazy boy. (He is super heavy these days I haven't carried him in ages!)
We have also been trying to get things ready for our baby with the help from these two crazies. They are testing all the stuff! (They felt like baby Granite needed a pillow and some toys to play with when he wakes up from his nap. he is also wearing a pair of socks that are for the new baby) To say they are excited is an understatement.

I am definitely starting to feel yucky so hopefully not too much longer until we can be holding this little one. It is a two edge sword though because they are so much harder out than in!

This Week's News

This last week has gone a little better than the week before. William had his big train ride where he got to ride the Scottie Cruiser (the travel bus the HS takes to events) to Malta and then ride the Amtrack back. He has been looking forward to this field trip for the whole year. He said he had lots of fun and that you sit really high up and the train goes really fast.
The boys and Ben had their first Father's and Son's camp-out this last Friday night and they had SO much fun. They looked forward to it the whole week. The weather was decent but William and Ben got cold during the night. Charley slept like a rock. The loved fishing and poking sticks into the fire. I am glad they got to go.
I had big plans with Emmerlyn but as it turns out she had a horrible cold with a yucky fever so we just watched some movies on Friday night. Saturday morning she was feeling much better so we painted her nails and then she painted mine. I am sporting some awesome neon green fingernails.
We got the boys moved down to their new room yesterday so we could get the bedroom up here set up for the baby and then Emmerlyn and I washed all the baby clothes today and put them away. Now we just need to get a spot in Ben and I's room set up so that we can put the pack'n'play in there for the first little while. It feels good that we are carving out a spot for our new little one because I was beginning to wonder if we would ever be ready for her to come. I think we are about there.

So Once Again. . . .

We got a dog. It looks like this.
According to this guy who is finally feeling better which is SO nice poor guy I swear he was on his deathbed it was awful.
This girl is over the tummy bug but now she has a yucky head cold. Why do we keep getting sick?????? I tell you what, I am exhausted I don't know how much more of sick people I can handle and I am a nurse!
So our dog looks a little more like this. He is at the age where he just sleeps where he drops and doesn't seem to mind that Charley and Emmerlyn were sliding him around (on our new non-carpeted dining room floor!) with the help of that mop you can see in the corner. Poor pup. The kids love him but now we just have to get him past the puppy bite EVERYTHING/EVERYBODY insight stage.

 Happy Mothers Day to me!
What a sweet little bunch. I tell you what though I think Mother's Day might be one of the worst days of the year. It feels like the kids really test their limits, they are always super tired and into EVERYTHING! We also had to speak in Church which was awful. It just never really came together for me but of course Ben did a great job and didn't even freak out on Saturday afternoon when the power flipped and deleted his talk :). Overall life is going good with us right now. My friends threw me a beautiful baby shower and it was fun to be able to go out with friends and the ladies in our ward. I am 35 weeks now and am starting to feel it but I will make it. I am still measuring about a week and a half big which is really different for me but let me tell you what I am ginormous!
Have a Great Week!

Sick

This week we made a little progress on our bathroom, we are getting there, hopefully. But other than that we are sick. That sums it up in a nutshell.
