The biggest news this week is that we got a little puppy. The kids are in heaven with their new little toy Fox Terrier named Stickers. Unfortunately I am not so sure she is big enough for them. Charley is a little rough and the puppy is really rough with him in return so I am having some doubts. . . .oh well we will give it a little more time and I think my kids would hate me forever if I got rid of it at this point. Ben is lost in taxes he is even dreaming about them at this point but the exciting news is that we only have 3 weeks left!!!!!! I think that is about are week in a nutshell.

Wow, I am not doing very good with this.
I blame the pregnancy. I am just SO tired that during the time that I used to blog I have to take a nap I seriously am falling asleep before dinner if I don't and then I am super grouchy and all of my family hates me so a nap it is but then I forget to blog until now. Sorry. basically life is going as it has been. William is working hard in school, Charley is playing hard at home, and Emmerlyn is fighting hard to not have to go to bed. She is working on ALL of her stalling techniques, needing a drink, going potty, crying, asking 20 billion questions etc. Ben is working hard for about 70 hours at work and then in the few minutes he is home and I, am just staying the course somebody needs to keep the crazy train chugging and that job is mine :).
This might be TMI (so if poop bugs you skip to the next section but this is huge for us :). So when we moved into this house Emmerlyn stopped pooping in the potty *much to my dismay we had finally gotten there and then it stopped.* I begged and pleaded and bribed but wasn't getting anywhere so I just gave up for awhile and dealt with a stinky diaper at some point in the middle of the night every night. There are only a couple things that this little girl LOVES beyond anything else in this world right now and they are lip gloss, nail polish, and panda bears. So a little while ago when I was at the store without her I remembered that she was out of lip gloss so I bought her some. On my way home I decided that she would have to earn her gloss so when I got home I showed her the lip gloss (boy was she excited) and then explained to her that when she pooped on the potty she could have this brand new lip gloss. Then I clipped it to the top of the fridge where she could see it but couldn't reach it (imagine a VERY upset 2 year old doing a wiggle and stomp dance). Well there it sat for a couple weeks and she would mention it every once in awhile until finally the other day she earned her gloss!!!! See how excited she is. She is doing great now and it is SO nice!
So with Ben working 70 hours a week we are trying to keep ourselves entertained around the house which we have been doing small projects here and there but I don't want to really start anything new until the bathrooms are done because I don't want to be in a crazy mess all the time. (the construction clutter is about to send me to the looney bin). Well this last week I did every project I could do on my own (which considering my current blubberous shape I was somewhat limited) Well on Friday Emmerlyn and I pretty much got all the sheetrock down in the old bathroom and then cut a hole for the new doorway. Which committed Ben to having to finish the up high sheet-rock and frame in and sheet rock the old doorway. Opps so in his spare time this weekend he did that and now our bathroom is completely gutted and ready to start putting up all the new stuff. Which I am SO ready for I wish we could do it all today. I also decided that the vanity that Ben had adjusted to go in there and I had painted just isn't going to work so now he has to fix that, again. I think it is better to do it now though then to put the one in and have to change it in a couple months because I don't like it right? So needless to say Ben is tired and ready for tax season to be done.
This little girl wanted to be helping her Dad every step of the way and she was underfoot pretty much the whole time he was working.
Ben also wanted to get outside for a few minutes in the nice weather on Friday so he went out with the kids while they were waiting for dinner to be done and started trimming back the jungle
William posed himself like this when he saw the camera. He looks so grown up I can't believe it.
Trying to mimic his brother. So cute!

Opps!
So I TOTALLY forgot to blog today. It has been one of those weeks and now in my panic to blog I have forgotten everything we have done for the last few days. Ben has worked, a lot. William came home from school today literally caked from head to toe in mud his clothes and back pack are on their second wash to get all of the mud out. Emmerlyn and Charley have been getting to play out in the backyard these last couple days and it has been FANTASTIC for me and for them! Charley was CRAZY in primary on Sunday they had to take him out to Ben (I think it was the change in the weather he spent all of Saturday outside and just wanted a little freedom, hopefully he does better next week.) Emmerlyn is her busy self and desperately wants to wear shorts ALL THE TIME. She only has one pair of shorts out (due to the fact that it is still winter outside) that are little PJ ones but she wants to wear them constantly. As for me I am tired. Only 3 more months and then I will at least be a different tired :).

Cruising Along
Things are going about the same. I am still super exhausted but we are starting to be able to change the pace of life a little so it isn't quite as bad. William is having fun in school and he especially loved this last week because they had fun dress-up days all week. He was concerned because they had to read or be read to for 100 minutes in order to go to the last little party and that was "a LOT" he said. I just timed what we usually did and he was well over that so as it turned out it wasn't as much as he thought :). Charley's tumbling class ended last week and so he is a little bummed but he has still been practicing at home and loving his "new" somersault skills as opposed to his old ones. He is LOVING primary and especially singing time. He is really learning the songs and I can hear him singing them around the house which I LOVE. He has learned the chorus to I Stand All Amazed and I love hearing his sweet little voice singing it. Emmerlyn is her busy self trying to convince the boys that she also has a baby in her tummy and she feeds it water through her belly button. Silly girl she really likes to play with the boys and unfortunately for them when things don't go her way she usually tackles them to get their attention. We are working on that. Ben is SUPER busy with his work right now and he also has a cold poor dude. I was wondering about that because nobody else seems to have it yet and I think it is because he isn't around enough right now to spread the germs. Our bathrooms I think just got put on hold until April 15 unless I can find the energy (and the skill set :) to do them myself. I am working on the little things (mostly paint) but the table saw scares me a little so I don't know if I will try it. It is supposed to be nice this weekend so maybe. . . .
We did ice cream sundaes for family night the other day (cuz I didn't have the energy to fight through a lesson:) and the kids LOVED them of course so then we had to continue having them until all of the ice cream and toppings were gone. Bummer huh?
The other day Emmerlyn was going stir crazy from being in the house (because I haven't wanted to go anywhere because it is at least 15 below zero outside and that is cold) so she brought up at lunch that we NEEDED to go to the store because we needed to get the new baby some bottles and a panda bear (because surely the new baby would need one of those right off). Then she went to get some money so we could go. It was a nice idea on her part but a little early on to be buying that stuff for the baby. I did brave the cold and take her to the store on Saturday so she could get out of the house. Sweet girls she is getting so big!
